our work in action
The Foundation supports our firefighters, their families, and the greater El Paso community. Through meaningful partnerships, programs, and events, we bridge the gap between the fire service and the community we serve; building connections, strengthening trust, and making an impact beyond the firehouse.
Medal Day
Medal Day is the El Paso Fire Department’s annual formal recognition ceremony honoring firefighters, emergency communications personnel, civilian employees, and community members for exceptional service, heroism, and contributions to the department and the El Paso community.
SWFC
The Southwest Fire Conference is a premier regional training and leadership event that brings fire service professionals together to learn, train, and share knowledge. Through nationally recognized speakers, hands-on skills training, and opportunities to connect with fellow firefighters and industry leaders, the conference is focused on strengthening the fire service and preparing today’s leaders for the challenges of tomorrow.
